Popular FAQ's
Q: Why are custom orders more expensive?
A: Custom pieces require additional design time. We provide customers with an optional $60 design proof or you can trust us to arrange your charms for you at no additional cost.
Q: Do you ship to other countries like Japan or the Netherlands?
A: Yes, we ship worldwide; however, varying additional VAT rates apply. Check out our shipping policy for more information.
Q: Why is there a white, chalk-like dust on my purchase?
A: Our glass charms are crafted using a technique called lampworking. In this method, Italian Murano glass is melted and shaped around steel rods called "mandrels". To release the glass charms from the mandrels, a release agent is applied. After removal, any leftover release agent inside the charm's hole is washed away with water. Sometimes, a small amount of the release agent can remain, drying into a powdery substance. This is rare but can be removed at home by washing the charm with warm water and dish soap. A small amount of bead release is not harmful to your health or safety, but if you notice a significant amount, we recommend washing before wearing, especially for those with sensitive skin or respiratory conditions. Always avoid breathing in bead release dust.
Q: Having trouble with Klarna?
A: While Klarna usually works smoothly, occasional issues can pop up—especially for international customers. Here are a few quick tips to help you troubleshoot: Try using incognito mode, switching browsers, or disabling pop-up blockers. You can also check out with PayPal as an alternative. Switching the site currency from USD to your local currency may help with Klarna approval by making exchange rate calculations easier. Lastly, make sure your address and payment details match exactly what your bank has on file. Klarna also performs real-time approval checks based on your credit history, order amount, and recent activity. If you have unpaid Klarna balances or have reached your spending limit, your order may not be approved.
